From the Provider

I value the importance of maintaining my mental health and well-being as part of delivering effective care to others. I do this by prioritizing my regular physical health, time outdoors, and making meaningful connections with family and friends. I practice mindfulness and positive self-talk regularly, which helps me stay grounded and resilient. I work to model the same wellness principles I encourage my patients to use.

I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active. My hobbies include anything outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, camping, and spending time with my family. I am a baseball fan and love visiting ballparks-regardless of the team playing. A fun fact is that I played college baseball. I also find a lot of enjoyment and peace in the mountains, especially when I can do this while horseback.

My approach to treatment has a strong emphasis on compassion, collaboration, and individualized treatment. I believe in building trusting relationships that start with feeling heard and understood. My philosophy combines evidence-based psychiatric care with supportive therapies and techniques to help patients feel empowered in their recovery or continued stability of mental health. I like to take a holistic view of mental health, considering personal, social, and lifestyle factors affecting patients’ well-being. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore these challenges, set meaningful goals, and work toward lasting change.
