Family Nurse Practitioner

Aubri completed her bachelor's degree in nursing from Brigham Young University. After 5 years of full-time work, she decided to complete her master's degree to become a family nurse practitioner. This was also done through Brigham Young University. She continued to work as a registered nurse during her graduate schooling. Once completed she started working as a family nurse practitioner, and has been doing that for 5 years. Aubri enjoys education and is constantly seeking to learn more and further her knowledge.

Aubri worked as a registered nurse for over 7 years at Primary Children's Hospital before beginning her career as a family nurse practitioner. She has been a nurse practitioner for 5 years. As a nurse practitioner, she has a background in family practice, urgent care, home health and hospice, and mental health. She provides care for the pediatric population through the geriatric population. She loves any age and is always up for meeting and assisting anyone in need.

Aubri was trained to be able to care for a broad spectrum of conditions. As she continued to pursue her career, she focused on mental health specifically. She works full time specializing in medication management of mental health conditions. She will see any range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and many others. She is currently continuing her education to further specialize in caring for those with various mental health conditions.

Aubri is a believer in the power of positive thinking, and working on changing our automatic negative thoughts that occur. She knows the power of good sleep, exercise, and eating healthily. She seeks assistance from professionals who specialize in the areas she may need further assistance from. She is a firm believer in taking charge of your health and finding those who can assist you in this process.

Aubri loves anything that will take her outdoors. She enjoys rock climbing, hiking, running, biking. She will also try to travel any chance she gets. She loves spending time with friends and family. She loves to cook (if there's ever time) and is obsessed with watching cooking and home renovation shows. She is deathly allergic to fish and found this out on a blind date years ago. She is always up for a laugh.

Aubri believes in an integrated approach to treating mental health conditions. Mental health is comprised of an interaction between biopsychosocial factors. This includes various components such as genetics, environment, social factors, physical health, brain neurochemistry, etc. Aubri takes all of this into consideration as she forms a treatment plan with each client. She tries to tailor treatment to the individual needs and style of each client she works with. She hopes to work together with clients to create a treatment plan that works for each client. She wants clients to see improvement in their mental health, and their lives, and to achieve their goals.
